INTRODUCTION
|
| "Stella
Maris Nirmala Nursery" is a Christian Minority Preparatory
School. It aims at imparting the best possible pre-primary
education to children. Admission is open to all without any
discrimination. Criterion for admission is first come first
served basis.
This
institution is not attached to any regular school. It, therefore,
does not guarantee further admission to any school.

| GENERAL
RULES |
|
1.
|
An
academic year is calculated from April 1st to March 31st |
|
2.
|
Minimum
age limit for admission is 2 ½ years as on 1st April. |
|
3.
|
Registration
for admission is open only to children born between 1st October
. and 30th September
.
Criterion for registration/ Admission is first come first
served basis. It will be closed as and when the seats are
filled up.
Submission of application is no guarantee for admission. |

4.
|
The
child, along with the parents, has to be present in the school
at the time of admission. |
|
5.
|
An
authentic certificate in proof of the child's date of birth
and also four passport size photographs should be given at
the time of admission. |
|
6.
|
School
uniform is compulsory for all the children.
|
|
7.
|
Withdrawal
of a child is not permitted during an academic year. However,
in genuine cases, like transfer of job/place of parents, shifting
of residence, if a child has to be withdrawn, one month's
notice in writing along with tuition fees must be given. In
the case of children who get admission in some recognized
schools, parents have to inform the school in writing as and
when they are selected in the other school. However, they
have to attend this school till they start going to the next
one
. |

8.

Tuition
fees will be charged for all the 12 months of an academic
year. Fees once paid will in no case be refunded.
|

a) Ashok Vihar, Adarsh Nagar, Azadpur, Bharat Nagar,

Road, Majlis Park, Model Town, Mahindroo Enclave, Nimri Colony,
New Gupta Colony, Old Gupta Colony, Pitampura, Rana Partap
Bagh, Roop Nagar, Rohini, State Bank
Colony, Shakti Nagar, Shastri Nagar,
Shalimar Bagh, Tri Nagar, Vijay Nagar. These are on specific
routes and have limited seats.
b) Conveyance charges of children, who use the school
van, are to be paid along with school
fees. Charges of other children are to be paid as
directed by the school. Conveyance charges are to be paid
for 11 months of an academic year

School
uniforms, text books, etc. can be bought from the school or
as directed by the school. Aluminum and plastic bags are not
allowed in the school.
|

15.
|
Every
child should possess a copy of the school diary of the current
academic year. Details of school activities, uniforms, outings
and other entertainments, parent-teacher meetings etc. are
given in the school diary.

IMPORTANT
RULES AND REGULATIONS
|
|
A
child gets its first education from his/her home. Therefore
for imparting the best possible education to the child the
cooperation of the parents is very essential. Hence, here
below are given some rules and regulations that must
be observed and abided by the parents while the child will
be in this preparatory school.

1.
|
Child
has to come to school in complete school uniform prescribed
for the season.
On Fridays, the child is free to wear any dress, unless otherwise
directed. (Name Badge must be worn everyday).
|
|
2.
|
Classes
are from Monday to Friday only.
|
|
3.
|
To
inculcate self discipline among the children, parents are
expected to be strict in punctuality, regular attendance,
habitual cleanliness and truthfulness.
|
|
4.
|
No
costly items (especially gold ornaments) are to be worn or
brought to school. The school will not be responsible for
the loss of any such things. If however, essential items like
caps/gloves/scarves etc. are lost/ misplaced in the school,
parents may inform the school office immediately. Every effort
will be made to restore them.
|
|
5.
|
Those
using school conveyances should ensure that the child is found
ready waiting at the place of pick-up. The conveyance will
not wait for the child. Also, on the child's return from the
school someone responsible should be at the place of pick-up
to receive back the child.
|
|
6.
|
While
dropping the child in the school (for those not using school
conveyances), kindly ensure that the child is handed over
only to the school staff at the entrance and not simply left
in the school premises.
|
|
7.
|
In
case of picking up a child back from school, either the parents
or persons already introduced to the school only should come.
|
|
8.
|
The
school will take all possible precautions for the safety of
the children while in the school or traveling in the school
conveyance, but will not be responsible for any kind of accident
or injury that is beyond out control. |
|
9.
|
While
making enquiries to the school about your child over the telephone,
please give the full name of the child (and preferably class
and section also) in the first instance.
|
|
10.
|
Only
solid food items (vegetarian) should be sent for lunch. Any
type of liquid food will not be allowed in the school. (Lunch
sent with unknown persons will not be given to the child,
unless accompanied by a signed letter from parents).
|
|
11.
|
Text
books are not be brought to school. Anything that is sent/
brought to school should bear the name of the child.
|
|
12.
|
Twelve
(12) months tuition fees and eleven (11) months conveyance
charges are to be paid in an academic year (An Academic
Year is calculated from April 1st to March 31st). Fees
once paid will in no case be refunded.
School fees are collected for two months together. Fees are
to be paid by the 15th of July, September, November, January
and March.

|
Withdrawal
of a child is not permitted during an academic year. However,

Claim
for refund of Caution Deposit may be made within six months
from the date the child finally leaves the school. Before
the claim is made, however, all the dues to be school are
to be cleared.

Nobody
will be allowed to see either the teachers or their children
during the school hours. Also none will be allowed to go inside
the classes during the school hours. |

Acknowledgement
slip must be produced on the day of admission/ enquiry.

Both
the parents must accompany the child while admitting him/her.

Admission,
if not taken on the assigned date, will be denied thereafter.

Please
bring a copy of the birth certificate, proof of residence
and four passport size photographs of the child. |
