the minute the infant heralds his entry into the world with a
loud wail, the child steps into an environment that is going to
test his abilities to the utmost. If the parents, with their adult
understanding, nurture his capabilities, he will find it as easy
as eating a cake. Since the best development of a child up to
four years of age is a co-operative effort between the school
and the parents, the school emphasises regular interaction with
the parents through a host of events and periodic parent-teacher
meetings. The results are better when parents avail this opportunity
to discuss with the class teachers the progress of their children
and become active partners in their child's educational advancement.
